Program Expectations
The Police Explorer Program has been the start of many law enforcement careers. Thus, as a result, anyone accepted into the Explorer Post must possess, or be capable of attaining, the mental and physical requirements of a law enforcement position. In order to become a police explorer, you must:
- Be at least 14 years old, and no older than 20 years of age
- Have the full support of parent(s) or guardian
- Maintain a grade point average of at least 2.0
- Maintain good moral character and a clean criminal record
