Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the City of Placentia, California in connection with a Hotel Development Opportunity to develop approximately 1.8-acres (“Site”) of City-owned property located at 350 and 380 S. Placentia Avenue.

he Site features good visibility from the 57 Freeway and is within close proximity to a future Metrolink station in the City. Additionally, the Site is situated near a large retail center anchored by a Home Depot and a Sam's Club and is just a half-mile away from California State University - Fullerton. The City of Placentia is currently in the process of rezoning the parcels to C-2 (Community Commercial, with a 65 foot height overlay), which is anticipated to be completed by September/October 2017 and would allow for hotel and retail uses. 

Kosmont Companies is an advisor to the City of Placentia and will administer the RFQ process in collaboration with City staff.

The deadline for submittals is 5:00 PM, Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
