The City of Placentia invites sealed bids for the Pedestrian Accessibility Project Phase VII. The project consists of the concrete sidewalk, curb/gutter and curb-ramp replacement throughout the City. The scope of work is described in more detail in the project construction plans and specifications. The contractor is required to ensure that all completed improvements are fully compliant with the Contract Documents and all applicable codes and standards. The Engineer’s estimate for this project is $75,000.
FAILURE TO SUBMIT THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS, WITH THE BID PROPOSAL SHALL BE JUST CAUSE FOR REJECTION OF THE BID.
The Bid and Contract Specifications for this maintenance contract are available to download at no cost from CIPList.com. All bidders shall register with CIPList.com to retrieve plans, specifications, addendums, bidders’ list, etc. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to check the City’s website at http://placentia.org/bids.aspx and CIPList.com daily through the close of bids for any applicable addendums or updates.
NO HARD COPY BID DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.
Bids are due to the City Clerk’s Office on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm and will be opened shortly thereafter by the Public Works Department in the Front Community Meeting Room.
Contractor's License: In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the AGENCY has determined that the Contractor shall possess a valid California Contractor's License A. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
