    This program is aimed at enabling a relaxed conversation in a comfortable environment with residents and business owners to discuss topics of their choice. In addition to topics brought up by residents and business owners, Mr. Butzlaff will provide updates on key city initiatives such as the proposed Metrolink Station, development projects throughout the City, the annual budget, capital projects, pending issues being discussed by City Council, and a variety of other topics. Occasionally other public officials, including the Police Chief, Fire Chief and other members of the City’s Executive Team, will attend to highlight a specific project or program.

  2. Free Shredding, E-waste, and Pharmaceutical Collection Event

    April 26, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Placentia Civic Center

    Placentia residents are invited to have their confidential documents destroyed on-site free of charge by Shred-It and dispose of their electronic waste. Residents will be required to provide proof of residency. Please limit documents to two boxes per household. In addition to the free shredding disposal event, the Placentia Police Department, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency, will be taking back expired or unwanted prescription medication for safe disposal as part of the National Take-back Initiative. Participants may dispose of medication in its original containers (glass containers excluded) or empty the contents into the onsite disposal box from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Participants are advised to remove any identifying information from the prescription label.
