[ARCHIVED] Police Citizen's Academy 2019

The Placentia Police Department is now accepting applications for the Citizens Academy. The academy is set to begin on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 and applications are due September 15, 2019. This eleven-week, non-stress course (including graduation) is designed to provide community members with a better understanding of their Placentia Police Department as well as foster better communications between police personnel and citizens. The academy includes instruction in: traffic enforcement, gangs, narcotics, police K-9 program, crime scene investigation and much more. Please consider applying if you are interested in learning more about your Police Department and would like to get more involved in your community.
