The City of Placentia invites you to participate in a free community Drive-Thru Shred Event on Saturday, January 30th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Placentia Civic Center, 401 East Chapman Avenue. Shredding documents can help prevent fraud and identity theft. Placentia residents and businesses are invited to have their confidential documents destroyed on-site for free by South Bay Document Destruction. A maximum of four (4) banker box-sized containers will be accepted from each household or business location in Placentia. No electronic items, hazardous materials, or business e-waste will be accepted at this event. At this contactless drive-thru event, we ask that all participants stay in their vehicles and have their shred items packaged in a bag(s) or the box(es) in their backseat or trunk.
