- Emergency Preparedness 101
Congratulations! You've taken the first step toward becoming more prepared for emergencies.
The following are links to various websites that provide extensive information on becoming better prepared in handling many types of emergencies at home, school, or work:
The City of Placentia offers a CERT training course twice a year to individuals interested in learning more about preparing themselves, their families, and their neighbors during and after an emergency.
Remember: It's easy to get overwhelmed. Don't put off the one step you can take today because you are worried about completing all recommended items. Take it one day at a time - read an article, buy a first aid kit, make an evacuation plan, or sign up for a class.
